Who we are

This site, cleanbest-commercialcleaning-penrith.com.au, is operated by CLEAN BEST GROUP PTY LTD (ABN 84 700 040 553), trading as Clean Best, of 54 Columbia Rd, Seven Hills NSW 2147. We provide cleaning services to premises in Penrith NSW 2750 and the surrounding area.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Only what you type into the quote form on this site, which is: your first name, last name, phone number, email address, the service you selected, the best time for us to call you, and — if you choose to provide them — the address of the premises and a message describing what you need.

The form also contains a hidden field that no person ever sees or fills in. It exists to catch automated spam submissions, and anything submitted with it filled in is discarded. It collects nothing about you.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, payment card details, bank details, government identifiers, health information or any other sensitive information through this website.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to your enquiry, to call you back at the time you asked us to, to arrange a walkthrough of your premises, and to prepare and send you a written quote. If you become a client, we use it to deliver and administer the cleaning service you have engaged us for.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to a marketing list. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.

Who sees it

The Clean Best team who handle quotes and scheduling, and the supervisor who attends your premises. Submissions from the form are transmitted to our email via a mail service provider that acts on our instructions and is not permitted to use your information for its own purposes.

We disclose personal information outside that only where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Where it is stored, and for how long

Enquiries are stored in our business email and in our client records. We keep an enquiry for as long as we may reasonably need it — to follow up a quote, to answer a later question about a job, or to meet a record-keeping obligation — and we delete it when that reason no longer applies.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No system connected to the internet is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise, but the amount of information we hold about a prospective client is deliberately small.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run advertising trackers. If we use analytics to understand which pages are read, it is used in aggregate to improve the site and is not used to identify you individually or to build an advertising profile about you.

Accessing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au or call 1300 494 983 and tell us what you want done. We will respond within a reasonable period, and there is no charge for asking.

If we cannot do what you have asked — for example, where we are required to retain a record — we will tell you why.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au and we will look into it and reply to you. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can take the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which is the regulator for the Privacy Act.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top. We will not quietly reduce your rights and leave the date alone.
